Why Mold Rid Of Exists
Florida law (Statute 468.8421) requires that mold assessment and mold remediation be performed by separate, independent parties. The intent is simple: the company that finds mold should not be the company that profits from removing it.
In practice, most Florida mold companies hold both licenses (MRSA for assessment and MRSR for remediation) and route work between two arms of the same business. The legal letter is met. The legal spirit is broken.
